Greetings Citizen's
I come to you today to bring you the once Loved and Once reviered Lostkingdom G'oh Tournement. We will be holding as in tradition has always brought about this Tournement. It will be braket Setup and it will depend on how many teams we have in order to make sure we have enough to go around. There will be Prizes for First, second, third, fourth, and fifth. If we are with enough people that is. Come out and support your Favorite Clan or favorite person, you do not have to play to see the tournement but we do ask that you respect our Clan hall and the people in it. The medals have been created for the G'oh League. You can now see what medals a player has earned by looking at their history page. You can also click on medals to go to the Medals Table. Today I added an availability feature to help players find games. Thanks to Zade for making this suggestion in the comments area. Once you have renewed your availability you will be listed for 60 minutes as available to play Goh. If you click on the renew option again, it will set your last renewed count back to 0 minutes. Once you have not been renewed for over 60minutes you are dropped off the list.

The side menu has an option to verify someone's account if you are logged on. Now you don't have to wait for a host to verify someone before you can play them. Just make sure that the person is registered (outside of Tangun) and that their account and nexus name are the same. Account options now has a profile update function.

Congratulations to Komaki taking 1st place and Ahfai taking 2nd place at the KSG Tournament today. Both players showed great talent and in the end were awarded for their efforts. Just as a reminder, the cut off for the Advance Tournament Invitation is at Midnight est Friday. Get into the top 16 by then to receive an invitation!

Secure log on system is now in place. To report games you must first log on then go to report game and only the winner's name is required to report games. The comment section is also up now. Account options, history page posting, profile, image uploads and other features for the secure log on will be added when I have the free time to work on them.

****Tournament Champion****
Today's Beginner Tournament went off with out a hitch. After many games Keum came out to be the Champion! He earned 200k for his efforts, and 2nd place went to xGumchewer who also laid waste to many opponents along the way. Great job to them and all the other participants. The cut off for the Advance Tournament is friday, so get into the top 16 ranks by then. Later.

Information Regarding an -ADVANCED- G'oh League Tournament has been posted in the tournament section. Pay close attention to the qualification criteria. First prize is 500k, but it is not the money that we is important here, what is important is that the best player's from nexus will be competing for the championship. The winner of his tournament also receives a special Brand/Tag in their Player History page noting that they have won an Advanced Tournament. Special congrats to our very own Interstate winning the Nagnang Army Tournament and the new comer Silencio taking second place. At todays KSG Tournament first place when to Yorito and 2nd to Fibb. Was a great turn out today and we hope for more great tournaments in the future.

****ALERT****
Recently a few players have been having trouble understanding some of the rules which can result in voided games or forfeits. Please make sure that you read over our rules and -TAKE SCREENSHOTS- that both players have agreed to a ranked match, and of anything to prove your position on any issue with a game. -IF- you report a game and have a problem with it afterwards, we will not review your complaint as you have already agreed that you lost by reporting the game.

Friday, July 11th 2008 ****TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS****
Today was our first G'oh League Tournament hosted by the Legion of Nagnang. Many showed up but there could only be 1 champion. After 5 well fought games Armichael came out on top winning the 200k prize. Coming in 2nd was Rukhi who also had a great run before coming up short to our champion. There is another tournament Saturday night, be sure to make it! See you on the boards.

Column headers in the rankings table can now be clicked on to toggle which column the table is sorted by. If you click on the "total" header for example, the table will be organized by who has played the most games first to who has played the least last. I will be doing this for the player history pages soon as well (when I work on the log on features). Also, when you click on "update" when reporting a game it will take you to another page to avoid double reports.

Recently reported games (the last ten) are now displayed on the left side of the website. The current time of the server is also displayed so that people can see how long it has been without converting time zones. The Top Players list now displays the top ten players--not eight. On a side note, if anyone finds any bugs, has any problems, or suggestions please mail me on Interstate. As far as I know the site is bug free right now, but please keep a close eye on your records and make sure everything is reported correctly!

The player history pages are finally complete, you can now click on player's names to view their game histories. The next thing I will be working on is a recently reported games box to be displayed below the menu box. This should help players find opponents that are playing at any given time (instead of mass whispering or walking to various goh areas).

Finished the Elo system. Players are now ranked by their Elo status. Moved rank table to rank page and player page now only displays verification status.

Updated the side menu section. The self report system is now functional. There may be bugs so please play some games with verified members and report the results to help test it. Right now the database will keep track of how many wins, losses, and who you've beat / lost to and how many times. Keep in mind the win/loss system won't be the only factor in being ranked. We will be using the "ELO" ranking formula to ensure that skill level and rank of opponent are taken into account.

Created self verification system. You can find the link on the Players page. Please report bugs to myself or Aens. Verified players will soon be able to report results of their own games. This will allow players to play each other freely without having to wait for hosts and to have their ranks instantly updated.
